Indy Sushi Academy
Sushi, designed to be the commoner’s food, was the fast food of the Edo period. Over time, the fishy parcel has evolved - its craftsmanship and artistry celebrate the minimalist beauty of the sea’s bounty.
As sushi in the US has grown in popularity, Ocean World’s customers are increasingly interested to learn about sushi. In response to this interest, Chef George Sato organized classes for Indianans on how to make authentic sushi. More than 1500 students have taken sushi classes at Ocean World, and many others are lining up for their first class.
